The No. 1 Killer in America

By Ann Sosnowski

Tuesday Jan 23, 2007

In 1999, total costs of cardiovascular disease came in at $286.5 billion.

Americans haven’t learned their lesson: Seven years later, the cost of the disease has increased by 41% to $403.1 billion per year. Even more shocking is that 40% of all U.S. hospital revenues are generated by cardiovascular disease. And it doesn’t appear to be slowing down, unless something is done about it.

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. One out of every 2.7 deaths in the United States is due to cardiovascular disease.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more U.S. women died of heart disease in 2003 than of cancer, lung disease, diabetes and Alzheimer’s… combined.

There is good news out there on the horizon: 85% of cardiovascular disease can be prevented or even halted by early diagnosis.

There are more than 100 million resting electrocardiograms performed annually, but doctors agree that monitoring during everyday activity is the best bet for diagnosing heart conditions early.

That’s where my newest Diligent Investor MicroCap Hot Sheet recommendation comes in…

I’ve found the only company that has patented technology to clear out both background and body movement noises in an everyday electrocardiogram to create an extremely accurate reading of a patient’s heart while going on about his or her daily business.

This company’s newest product, a fabric vest embedded with electrodes and a memory card, has been featured on The Today Show’s “Modern Medical Miracles.”

This medical device company’s stock trades for only $1.50 per share, and is poised to address a critical need in the $400 billion cardiovascular market.

I urge you to learn more about Diligent Investor MicroCap Hot Sheet now and learn about this groundbreaking company before anyone else does…
