Trading Tactics

The big laggard this morning is Advanced Micro Devices (AMD:NYSE), as the chip-maker is down 9% after issuing a profit-warning that makes investors question the forward-looking strength of the technology sector.

This move comes one day after shares of SAP AG ADS (SAP:NYSE), the world's largest maker of business software, fell nearly 10% after its fourth-quarter sales fell short of forecasts.
